We would like to recommend 66 books to you. And then 10 more books to you!

The 66 books are of course, the 66 books of the Bible.

HOW TO READ THE BIBLE IN 70 WEEKS
We recommend considering a 70-week Bible reading plan, mirroring the 70 weeks of reconciliation God proposed to have with His people in Daniel 9.

Our favorite way to take people through the Bible is not necessarily sequentially through the chapters and books, but by using the spreadsheet you can find here.

To complete the whole Bible in 70 weeks, simply read 17 Bible chapters per week (avg. about 2.5 chapters per day; or 2 chapters four of the seven days of the week and 3 chapters the other three days.).

Pick away at Leviticus while enjoying Psalms the same day. Select some Jeremiah while also dipping into the gospels. Combine prophecy with epistles on the same day. Or any other combination you’d like!

Simply fill in the box when you’ve completed the chapter. And with systematic study of just 17 chapters per week, you’ll enjoy the Bible day by day for 70 weeks, completing what seems at first glance to be a gargantuan task.

THE 10 BEST BOOKS EVER
I’ve read a lot of books, and outside of the Bible, my favorite ten books are all by Ellen G. White.

There are many, many books of hers that were pulled together from her
volumes of writing numbering over a hundred thousand pages. They are all amazing. Read them all.

But the best place to start is these ten books, as these are the ten she wrote start to finish, each as a book in itself.

1. Patriarchs and Prophets (the narrative of the first part of the Old Testament)
2. Prophets and Kings (the rest of the Old Testament)
3. The Desire of Ages (the life of Christ; best book ever)
4. Acts of the Apostles (the rest of the New Testament)
5. The Great Controversy (the most important book for our time – covers from the end of the New Testament to the present day and the future prophecies yet to be fulfilled.)

Those first five books comprise The Conflict of the Ages series.

6. Steps to Christ (the second best selling Christian non-fiction book ever, not counting the Anglican liturgical book of common prayer; second only to Foxe’s Book of Martyrs)
7. Education (this is NOT just for teachers; it’s an amazing book for everybody)
8. Ministry of of Healing (great for new year’s – the health message and more about Jesus)
9. Thoughts from the Mount of Blessings (Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount)
10. Christ’s Object Lessons (Jesus’ parables)

DON’T MISS THIS – THE FUN PART!!
This came as an amazing revelation when we did the math.

If you read or listen to one chapter of these 10 books per day, you end up finishing the ten of them in… guess how long…

Almost exactly 70 weeks! You’ll finish the same week you finish your Bible reading plan!

No spreadsheet needed. Just march right through the books one chapter at a time, and enjoy!

Our prayer is for each reader to draw closer to Jesus this holiday season and this new year, and that each of us would stand in His righteousness alone as the storm of the last days approaches and the blessed hope hastens ever nearer.
