STATEMENT OF BELIEF

Bible History is True.

The Bible faithfully records the history of the first fourth thousand years of earth’s history, including the 6-day creation and the first coming of Jesus Christ.

Bible Prophecy is Verified.

The Bible also prophesies the certainty of the visible, literal, audible, and glorious second coming of Jesus on the clouds, and the prophetic indicators certify that the time of His coming is at hand.

Salvation through Jesus Christ Alone.

The Bible teaches that salvation is through faith in Christ through His perfect life, sacrifice at the cross, and resurrection from the dead… and of utmost significance for us at this moment in the history of redemption – His present end-time work as High Priest in the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary.

The 10 Commandments Still Apply Today.

The Bible also teaches that love for God leads to obedience of the Ten Commandments, including the Fourth Commandment, which enjoins upon worshippers of God the observance of the seventh day of the week as the Sabbath of the Lord, instituted in Eden.

God calls us to the joy of holy living.

A Christian lifestyle and family life should naturally flow from a biblical faith, which finds expression in choices regarding diet, fashion, media, as well as acts of service to the community, bringing love, healing and hope to others.

The Bible teaches a three-person Godhead.

Jesus existed with the Father “from eternity” before coming to this earth. The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead.

The Bible reveals a great controversy between Christ and Satan.

Satan was once a glorified angel named Lucifer. He invented evil, tempted mankind into sin, and claims dominion of this earth. God’s character is on trial, but will be vindicated. Those who live lives of love even toward those who hate and persecute and who preach the gospel, in so doing, are hastening the second coming of Jesus and the end of sin and suffering.

Prophecy points to an end-times remnant church.

In contrast to the many deceptions of Babylon and the antichrist’s ‘mark,’ the true believers of the last days are a church who have the seal of God, the commandments of God, the faith of Jesus, the testimony of Jesus, and the Spirit of prophecy.
